Recently I’ve been watching a lot of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, and though it’s a show that’s more than ten years old, I’ve been enjoying it a lot. So, when I came across this book tag, I almost immediately decided to do it.
THE ONE WHERE EDDIE WON’T GO: A CHARACTER I WISH WOULD JUST GO AWAY
Pearl from Cinder by Marissa Meyer. She was such a snobbish, spoilt brat who treated Cinder like crap.
THE ONE WHERE ROSS AND RACHEL TAKE A BREAK: FAVOURITE BREAK UP SCENE
SPOILERS FOR THE INHERITANCE SERIES
Okay, this is technically not a break up, as Eragon and Arya were never really together, but I had been shipping them for so long, that their separation was heartbreaking.
THE ONE WITH ALL THE KISSING: A BOOK WITH LOTS OF KISSING
How much is a lot? I recently read The Dark Wife by Sarah Diemer, which did have quite a few kissing scenes.
THE LAST ONE: FAVOURITE SERIES FINALE
No words needed.
THE ONE WITH A BLACKOUT: A SCENE I’D LIKE TO FORGET
I don’t know if this scene is there in the movies or not, but I really disliked teh scene in the Lord of the Rings, where Eowyn decided to give up fighting. I was finally getting to get a strong female character in the books….and then, that happens. i know it was 1955 and all, but I still wish that did not happen.
THE ONE WHERE CHANDLER CAN’T CRY: A BOOK THAT DID NOT MAKE YOU AS EMOTIONAL AS OTHERS
I liked this book. However, it did not leave me drowning in feels or anything the way everyone claimed it would.
THE ONE WHERE JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD: A BOOK YOU WON’T EVER LEND
I know this is blasphemy in the book community, but I am not a stickler about the condition of books. I often accidentally damage them myself. So, for me, lending books is not that big a deal.
THE ONE WITH THE THUMB: A RECENT READ THAT YOU WOULD GIVE TWO THUMBS UP TO
I fast-paced thriller, I really enjoyed Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.
THE ONE WITH THE ICK FACTOR: A BOOK WITH A PET PEEVE
I’ve not yet read this book, but I’m really reluctant to read the book of Ivy by Amy Engel as it is centred around the enemies to lovers trope, which I think is rather overused. I’m know lots of people love that trope, and I don’t dislike t but it’s not my favorite right now.
THE ONE WITH THE LESBIAN WEDDING: FAVOURITE LGBTQ BOOK COUPLE
Girl!Hades and Persephone. ❤
I agree with you on Pearl from Cinder.. hehe.. cool tag!
