I picked this one up on a whim. I like reading books from different parts of the world and this one was from Singapore, a place I had not read much from. And this was a light-hearted, quirky tale that was a lot of fun to read.
Impractical Uses of Cake follows Sukhin, a 35-year-old teacher who leads an ordinary life, till he runs into a woman from his past, who has become homeless. This is one of those books that doesn’t have a grand overarching plot, but you have a lot of fun reading about the characters and what they go through. A short, fun read.
